1 year with Microsoft NCE: Remember the price will change at anniversary date

With Microsoft New Commerce, partners have the choice to commit to annual terms or monthly terms with autorenewal. Over the next few weeks, many annual subscriptions will meet the anniversary date, and will auto-renew to given terms.

  • Annual term subscriptions purchased between January 11th and March 31 had 5% promotional discount. These will renew to standard price.
  • March 1, 2022, Microsoft had a price increase on 6 selected products. Annual term subscriptions purchased between January 11, 2022, and March 1, 2022, will renew in 2023 to the new higher price (9-25% price increase).
  • April 1, 2023, Microsoft will have a new price increase for all products aligning local currency to USD. Annual term subscriptions renewing before April 1 will renew to current price for full 12 months term. Subscriptions renewing after April 1 will renew to the new price (11% increase for DDK, EUR and NOK, 15% increase for SEK).

Call to actions:

  • Find upcoming renewals in the renewal dashboard in StreamOne Cloud Marketplace.
  • If you don’t want to auto-renew for another annual term, remember to turn auto-renew off.
  • Use this opportunity to review customer needs and adjust seat quantity or other adjustments.
  • Engage with your TD SYNNEX Microsoft team to learn more and plan renewals/upsell.

Are you ready for GDAP?

The Microsoft Threat Intelligence Center (MSTIC) continues to detect nation-state (Nobelium) activity that exploits partner trusted relationships and admin privileges to gain access to downstream end customers. As part of their zero trust policies Microsoft have introduced "Granular Delegated Admin Privileges" (GDAP) to replace the more basic "Delegated Admin Privileges" (DAP) previously used for Microsoft CSP administration. GDAP is a security feature that provides partners with least-privileged access following the Zero Trust cybersecurity protocol. It lets partners configure granular and time-bound access to their customers' workloads in production and sandbox environments. This least-privileged access needs to be explicitly granted to partners by their customers.

GDAP is a major change to how Microsoft partners handle role-based access (RBAC) to end customer Microsoft CSP tenants, and it is important to all Microsoft CSP partners to understand the impact to their operation.
